Noëlle Hiester Crowe
Primary Guide, School Director, Co-Founder
Noëlle Hiester Crowe holds an AMI Primary diploma from the Southwest Institute of Montessori Studies.
Noëlle earned her bachelor’s degree from Franciscan University of Steubenville in 1995. Two years later she earned her MBA, also at FUS. She left Steubenville to work in education and as a director of Catechetics at the parish and diocesan level.
She moved back to Steubenville in 2016 ahead of her marriage to Tom Crowe. She is trained in all three levels of the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd, which is the Montessori method applied to religious education. From that foundation she sought other opportunities to bring the Montessori method to others who could benefit from it. After she and Tom were married in 2017, this manifested in the establishment of Hilltop Montessori School.
Since Hilltop Montessori School opened in 2018, Noëlle has served as the guide in the Primary Program, as director of the school, and in administrative roles including bookkeeping, HR, fundraising, marketing and more.
